New year new you and all of that jazz; but, what about new year new pool? (i.e., Get your pool renovated!) With the turn of every new year, we’re always worried about ways we can improve ourselves and which dirty habits to drop. However, we give little to thought to ways that we can improve our home: which will, in turn, improve our lives.
For example: if one of your New Years resolutions was to get in shape (how’s that going by the way?); then what better a way to stick to that resolution than by renovating your old swimming pool and using it more often?
OK, so that might sound like a very expensive way to stick to your resolutions, particularly if one of them was to cut back on how much you’re spending. However, you have to look at it from a different perspective: if you were to get your pool renovated it would be a wise investment. Not only does it add value to your home, but to the lives of you and your family. Let’s explore some irrefutable reasons to get your pool renovated in 2019:
1 – Because it’s what you want to do
Is it not? Aren’t you tired of walking past an old, dated swimming pool which has fallen into disrepair? How buzzing do you feel about jumping into the pool of a morning or inviting your friends over for a BBQ, a few beers and a dip? If you want to get your pool renovated, then that should be reason enough. However, we’ll go through a few more points to build your confidence in the idea.
2 – Get fit!
Again, having a swimming pool and using it regularly is a great way to get in shape. Regardless of whether or not it was a new year’s resolution of yours, it doesn’t change the fact that swimming every day is a good way to meet that end. So, do it! If you’re tired of being tired, then you need to get in shape. It’s also a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle amongst your fellow family members as well!
3 – Because your swimming pool is unfit for use
If you no longer use your swimming pool because it has deteriorated over time and is no longer safe, then you need to get your pool renovated. There’s no good having a useless death-trap on your property. That’s one expensive eye-sore! So, set some money aside and invest in the health and safety of those living in your home; and their fitness as well! It’s a no brainer.
Now, we could bang on for days about some quality reasons to get your pool renovated, but we feel as though these 3 are reason enough. You cannot turn your nose up at getting in shape, creating a safer environment for your family and doing something that deep down, you really want to do.
Go on! Treat yourself.
